FAFO Group

These multi-level groups are designed for people who’d like a supportive, social space to keep them accountable to their sewing practice. Bring a project you’re working on and get help and ideas from the group when you need it. 

The point of “FAFO” (F* around and find out) is to:

• Challenge yourself to try a sewing project or technique that is outside of your comfort zone.

• Troubleshoot issues with and source ideas from a small group of fellow sewists

• Banish procrastination and provide accountability: commit to finishing a “work in progress,” or start a project that’s been lingering on your “to do” list. 

• Join a supportive community of fellow sewists.

The FAFO group meets every other Wednesday, beginning Wednesday, August 12 and running through the end of 2026 (with the exception of Wednesday, August 26).

You may sign up as many sessions as you wish, and you may pay one session at a time, or choose a package deal:

• 1 session: $40

• 4 sessions: $140 ($35/session - save $20)

• 6 sessions: $198 ($33/session - save $42)

There will be sewing machines and other tools available for your use (pressing station, shears, pins, etc.), though you may also choose to bring your own.
